Every Thursday morning at 7:15am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City brings in the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

All of the animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped before adoption. All animals also receive an Alumni Card which entitles them to a 10% lifetime discount for veterinary services at the Humane Society of Ocean City clinic.
This week we met Einstein the dog....

Here is some information on Einstien from the Humane Society of Ocean City:

“Einstein is a male Lab mix, who is about 10 months old. Friendly and confident. He just arrived from Georgia where he save by another rescue from a high kill shelter. Einstein is a silly young fellow who loves to run and play, bounding in the yard with you or other playmates. He enjoys playing chase, fetch, and tug-of-war and can be just as couch-snugglier after a good romping session through the yard. Einstein is willing to trade kisses for having his ears scratched!

He is an intelligent dog, and will both enjoy and benefit greatly from good socialization and obedience training. Being that Einstein is still very much a puppy with plenty of energy, he will need the loving guidance of experienced dog owners! He can play a bit rough, but should be fine in most households, kids and other doggies are visit depending.

If you would like more information or to inquire about meeting Einstein, please call or stop in to the HSOC today! We are open 7 days/week, 11am-3pm. Doggie meet-n-greets are by appointment only. All our animals are S/N, UTD, and come with a microchip and life time discount to our veterinary center."
