An Egg Harbor Township woman has taken a battle with her health insurance company to social media and broadcast media.

Beth Galdo Desher was diagnosed in 2017 with stage three metastatic breast cancer - cancer that spreads to other parts of the body. Later, she was re-diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer.

Desher is in a fight with her insurance company to continue providing coverage for positron emission tomography (PET) scans, which give the most thorough and accurate results to detect disease earlier.

But PET scans are expensive, and, after initially allowing Descher's PET scans, her insurance company is now denying the coverage.

The self-described 'dance mom, mother of two young girls and wife to her childhood sweetheart', is fighting back with a very powerful YouTube video entitled " Help! I don't want to die! My health insurance company is trying to kill me!

Beth Desher also took her message to TV this week, with an interview on Fox 29.

This local woman is an inspiration with a very important message.

Both of these videos are attached. Please watch and support a South Jersey woman fighting for her life....
