Couples with an upcoming wedding date across the country are making creative and generous decisions.

Many couples needed to cancel the wedding, but others decided to go ahead with it, even if it meant no guests or dress, etc.

Maybe you are getting married soon, or maybe you know a couple who is. You might want to check out some of these ideas that other couples across the country decided to do to alter their wedding plans, according to Glamour.

Hit the road... a Manhattan couple got married in under 5 minutes on a quiet New York street. They used a window and a friend who is an ordained Universal Life Minister.

Robot and the quarantine. A man who was quarantined aboard the Grand Princess cruise ship,  then quarantined again at a military base didn't miss his daughter's wedding. They set up a remote controlled robot that he could control from far away so he could 'attend' the wedding.

Feed the heroes. A couple in England donated all the food from their wedding (food for 400) to the staff of a local hospital. A Miami couple donated their wedding food (for 170 guests) to a local food bank.

Brighten their days. Couples in Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina and Arizona decided to donate all the flower arrangements to senior living centers.
