This could be a sign of Binge Eating Disorder, or B.E.D, one of the newest conditions recognized as an eating disorder. There is a commonly held view that eating disorders such as bulimia or anorexia are a lifestyle choice, but they are actually psychological conditions.

During National Eating Disorder Awareness Week, it is a good time for all of us to be aware that these conditions affect millions of men and women across our country.  While eating disorders can lead to serious medical conditions, the good news is many people have been treated successfully.
