Could This Be the Warmest February South Jersey Has Ever Had?
I know this has been an extremely disappointing winter so far for snow lovers, but for those who aren't thrilled by a snow filled winter, you have been loving the winter of 2017!
It looks like the warm weather will stick around to wrap up the month of February, which is typically one of the worst months of winter.
According to NorthJersey.com, the warmest February for New Jersey was back 1999, followed by February 1895. With the month wrapping today, this February may go down as the third warmest ever in the Garden State!
With all of that being said, I wouldn't put away those snow shovels just yet. According to our Lite Rock meteorologist Dan Zarrow, unfortunately, things will finally start to cool off by the end of the week, and we could even see snow showers or maybe even a couple of inches of white stuff by Friday morning.
So, enjoy the warm weather while we still have it!
