State troopers are asking for your help as they investigate what is being called a suspicious death on Interstate 76 in Camden County late Monday night.

Officials say at about 10:30 PM, troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on the eastbound side of Interstate 76 (that section of road is commonly referred to as the 42 Freeway or Route 42) at milepost 0.4, which is near the junction of I-295.

When troopers arrived, they discovered the male driver of a black 2004 Mercedes Benz 500 was dead.

Based on a preliminary investigation, detectives determined that the man died as a result of injuries not related to the crash.

Cops say, "while driving on Interstate 76, the victim succumbed to his injuries and his vehicle went off the road where it struck a traffic barrier."

The identity of the man was not released Monday morning.
