Cops in Atlantic City say a girlfriend shot her boyfriend early Thursday morning and then they were both arrested the next day.

The scene unfolded around 6:30 Thursday morning, according to the Atlantic City Police Department, when officers were called to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division when 32-year-old Leonard Oglesby III of Atlantic City walked into the emergency department with a gunshot wound.

After questioning Oglesby, cops went to a home in the 1400 block of Caspian Avenue where they found, "an apartment door ... open, a window inside shattered, and blood outside the door," and no one was home.

Cops determined Oglesby was shot there and his girlfriend, 33-year-old Shawnique Hudson of Atlantic City, was named as a suspect.
