Authorities in Camden County say a 17-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the murder of a 14-year-old just days ago.

Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill Mayer and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez say the unidentified man was arrested Friday afternoon at a home in Camden. He has been charged with first-degree murder.

Mayer's office says cops found the victim on the 2000 block of Berwick Street on the night of October 29th suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim died at Cooper Hospital minutes later.

The juvenile is being held in the Camden County Youth Detention Center.

News of this arrest comes as officials investigate another murder on the streets of Camden. Late Thursday night, police say 22-year-old Kwamere Brown was shot and killed in the 1300 block of Lake Shore Drive. Information on possible suspects in that incident was not available Friday morning.
