The comics and pop culture event that was scheduled for late June at the Showboat Atlantic City Hotel has been postponed.

The event was originally scheduled to take place from June 21st to June 23rd and the announcement was revealed at EpicComicCon.com.

According to the message posted, the delay of this event is, “due to concerns that have come to our attention that would impede on the high level of service and entertainment that our fans, guests, vendors and celebrities have come to expect from us.”

Unfortunately, the spokesperson for the event did not elaborate on exactly what those "concerns" are.

One thing the event planners did make sure to specify is that the comic con is postponed, not canceled. However because of the last minute change, they are offering refunds for pre-sale tickets, autographs, and photo opportunities.

“We are very disappointed that we are forced to make this decision. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this postponement has caused you,” the announcement at EpicComicCon.com said.

For any other questions, head to EpicComicCon.com to contact those organizing the event.
