Every Thursday morning at 7:10am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City introduces the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

This week we met Comet the cat...

Here's some information on Comet from the Humane Society of Ocean City...

"Comet is an 8 year old, large, sleek black cat. He came into the shelter as a stray kitten in 2013. Comet can be found lounging in baskets or playing on the enrichment wall.

He can be a bit shy and will take time to come around in a home. He would really love another cat to play with and help he become more social.

Please contact one of our adoption counselors for more information. All cats are up to date with vaccines and have been spayed or neutered. The HSOC also provides each pet adopted by us with a 10% lifetime discount to our veterinary center."
