Miss McGroarty is a first grade teacher at Davenport Elementary School in Egg Harbor Township. she was nominated by her student Maverick Ryan's mom, Jamie for doing an excellent job of engaging her son while teaching him virtually this year.

Miss M has proven to be a great teacher! She has discipline and kindness and ensure each student has an accepting, fun learning environment.
She note only teaches from her extremely well organized lesson plans, but veers from them when needed to teach real life lessons. Having my first grader get up each day during this pandemic and, without a problem, jump on the computer and spend his day with Miss M, Just shows how much she is doing right!
