A rescue crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City was called in to medevac a passenger off the cruise ship Norwegian Breakaway, about 13-miles off Atlantic City, Sunday.

The Coast Guard were contacted about a sick woman on the ship at about 7pm, and they came to the rescue...again.

“Rescue cases like these are a great example of how the Coast Guard’s training in all weather conditions, both day and night help us get those who need urgent medical care to the help they need,” said Lt. j.g. Victoria Ferraro, according to coastguardnews.com
