A casting call has gone out for anyone interested in acting in a short film called "Francis" which will be shooting in Atlantic City Feb 13 - Feb. 18.

Writer/Director Ian Barling  and Cinematographer Anna Franquesa Solano are looking to cast principal, background artist and extra roles. The casting is being handled by Weist-Barron-Ryan in Pleasantville.

Will Patton, who is set to star in the title role of Francis is a successful stage, film and TV actor with movie credits including "No Way Out", "Armageddon" Remember the Titans", and Gone in 60 Seconds". His TV roles have included "Falling Skies", "Swamp Thing' and "Shots Fired".

According to the casting call post, the roles available for Francis include...

Officer Sims: male or female, 30s - 40s, Af/Am, Professional, Sharp. More brains than brawn.

Young Danny: Male, caucasian, 4-6 yrs, dark hair. Strong features. Unsettling stare.

Sergeant Bill Leroy Male, caucasian, 50s - 60s. Tall, powerful, intelligent, serious.

Tracy, female, any ethnicity, 20-25 yrs. Strong, a bit of attitude (typical South Jersey girl), attractive.

Here is a list of the background actors needed:

Club goers: Male & female, any ethnicity, ages 18-35. Talkative and energetic.

Young men on boardwalk: Male, any ethnicity, 20-30 yrs. Strong, rowdy (typical South Jersey guy), tipsy.

Police officer: Male or female, any ethnicity, 30-60 yrs. Strong build, confident, calm.

Payment is listed as "meals, credit and deferred pay."
