Well it looks like for the time being, the Cape May Lewes Ferry will have to stay put.

This past Monday was the fifth day that the ferry has remained docked and there already has been at least four morning crossings that have been canceled for today. Unfortunately, it looks like the trend will continue into this afternoon.

"It doesn't look good," said Jim Salmon, the ferry's operator and spokesman for the Delaware River and Bay Authority.

There is hope that temperatures will warm up by next week so that ferry can resume its crossings.
