Cape May County Firefighters Will Wear Pink for Cancer Awareness

Look for firefighters in Cape May, Ocean City, North Wildwood and Wildwood to start wearing pink to help promote awareness for cancer and cancer research.

Last year, a total of $36,000 was raised by the firefighters for Survivors of Cancer, which benefits cancer patients, survivors, and organizations dedicated to the same cause.

This year, the firefighters will be selling pink shirts at  festivals and community events through out Cape May County. You  can also purchase a pink shirt with the slogan "The Shore Fighting For A Cure" at fire stations in Cape May, Ocean City, North Wildwood and Wildwood.
