The Cumberland County Prosecutor is asking for your help with information about the car used by the men who killed a Millville parent during a youth football practice in August.

Tuesday, the Prosecutor's office released photos and a license plate number of the car they say was used by the gunman who killed Joseph L. Jones, 37, in the parking lot of Lakeside Middle School on the evening of Aug. 9.

The getaway car is described as a burgundy or maroon, four-door 1997 to 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix with NJ license plate ZJ7-61H. That plate was not registered to that vehicle, authorities added.

After fleeing the scene, occupants of the car fired several shots at a State Police trooper on Rt. 55 near Garden Road in Vineland. The trooper was not injured and did not return fire, officials said.

No arrests have been made.
