According to NJ.com, a man lost his life after his vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a utility pole on Route 555. The incident happened on Friday morning during the 6 o'clock hour. Once authorities arrived on scene, 59-year-old James Rago was transported to Inspira Medical Center in Vineland and pronounced dead.

Luckily, there were no other passengers in Rago's SUV, so he was the only victim.

If you're headed out today, you'll want to make sure you give yourself plenty of extra time, particularly in Atlantic County. For one, there are a lot of detours currently impacting traffic flow in various parts of the county, so you'll want to plan ahead for that. Also, you'll need to make sure you're not rushing. It's been raining since early this morning, so no doubt the roads are slippery.

Regarding the crash in Buena Vista, it is reportedly still under investigation. NJ.com made an important note, pointing out that the area is patrolled by state troopers since there is no Buena Vista police force. Will that fact impact how long the investigation takes? Who knows?

No further details were given about the incident so far. Everything we have learned about the crash from Friday morning can be found HERE. Our condolences are extended to the victim's family and friends during what must be an extremely difficult time.
