If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

This week we met Buddy the dog...

Here's some information on Buddy from the Humane Society of Ocean City...

"Buddy is a 6 year old Maltese who was surrendered when his owners passed away. He was adopted out to a wonderful family, but Buddy has made it clear he does not want to live with children.

He would love an active home that will take him for walks in the woods or on a quiet street as he does like to run after cars and bicycles. He then would love to cuddle on the couch in the evenings. Buddy does fine with other dogs but does tend to chase cats. He will need an adult home with no children.

Adopting a pet as a new family member is a major commitment and responsibility. The Humane Society of Ocean City is there to help you and your family succeed every step of the way. We provide training assistance by one of our certified dog instructors and quality veterinarian services by our award winning clinic."

If you would like to visit Buddy or need more information about any animal up for adoption at The Humane Society of Ocean City, call 609-398-9500 to make an appointment.
