Brigantine Police had an interesting and productive day at work today and saved a life in the process.

According to a post on the Brigantine Police Facebook page, Brigantine Officers Sprague, Rote and Cohen along with staff from the Marine Mammal Stranding Center were able to wrangle a seal that found its way to Ocean Avenue in Brigantine Thursday and was stranded in the street.

The seal was relocated to the north beach where it was released back into the wild. All in a day's work.
