Holy Spirit senior, Trevor Cohen has made his decision, putting pen to paper, and is heading to Rutgers to play baseball.

The Holy Spirit Spartan is also the team's starting quarterback but will continue his baseball career in New Jersey.

The 6'1", 185-pound outfielder and Brigantine, NJ resident, committed to the Scarlet Knights back in April but made it official on National Signing Day.

Cohen has been a big name on the local baseball scene since he was 13-years old. He played for me as a member of the Atlantic Shore Babe Ruth 13-year old team that made it all the way to the Babe Ruth World Series in Mountain Home, Arkansas in 2017.

In 2018, he was a member of the 14-year old Atlantic Shore team that won a World Series title.

In high school, he has been the starting quarterback for the Spartans football team and has been a fixture in centerfield for the Holy Spirit baseball team.

Cohen hit .360 during his junior season, pounding out 27 hits, scoring 28 runs with 19 RBI, six doubles, two triples, and a home run.
