Every Thursday morning at 7:15am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City brings in the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

This week we met Bowie the cat...

Here is some information on Bowie from the Humane Society of Ocean City:

"Bowie is a Domestic Short Hair cat about 4 years old.
Bowie's story went from heart breaking to heart warming and he only needs a loving family to help complete the happy ending. Bowie was rescued by our HSOC animal control officers (Jen and Courtney) from a residence after his owner was evicted and sadly left Bowie behind.

He is a super sweet playful and loving cat......a little shy at first but warms up very quickly. Please help us find Bowie his 2nd chance for a forever home."

If you would like to visit Bowie or need more information about any animal up for adoption at The Humane Society of Ocean City, call 609-398-9500 or stop in any day between 11a-3p.
