Every Thursday morning at 7:10am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City introduces the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

This week we met Bella the dog...

Here's some information on Bella from the Humane Society of Ocean City...

"Bella is a 9 month old hound mix that was surrendered to us by her owner. She was very nervous and uncomfortable around the newborn.

Bella is a high energy girl that would love another dog to play with. Older kids would be fine with her. No cats for this girl as she likes to chase and yell at them.

Adopting a pet as a new family member is a major commitment and responsibility. The Humane Society of Ocean City is there to help you and your family succeed every step of the way. We provide training assistance by one of our certified dog instructors and quality veterinarian services by our award winning clinic."
