You can now make a sports bet in all nine of Atlantic City's casinos. Bally's announced Tuesday that they have opened a temporary FanDuel Sportsbook in the casino. Bally's plans to build and open a permanent sports betting facility and lounge by spring 2021.

This temporary sportsbook is the first retail sports betting operation for FanDuel in Atlantic City.

Bally's promises that the permanent FanDuel Sportsbook will be state-of-the-art, best in class facility.

.... 4,100 square feet and consist of 34 self-service IGT PlaySports betting kiosks, and 5 attended, live wagering windows. It will also feature a luxury 80-seat lounge with 30 reclining club chairs, oversized LED video walls, a thoughtful food and beverage menu including self-service craft beer, and a sensational game-day atmosphere.

 

Bally's temporary sports book will feature six live odds boards, 10 self-service betting kiosks and three live betting windows.  It is located on the main casino floor and is accessible from the Boardwalk.

Bally’s previously had Atlantic City’s largest physical sports book in its Wild Wild West area. But when Caesars Entertainment sold the casino to a Rhode Island company that would later change its corporate name to Bally’s, that sports book became part of Caesars casino and was not included in the sale.

“We are excited to be one of the first pieces of the capital improvement project at Bally’s Atlantic City Casino & Hotel,” said Keith Wall, vice president of retail at FanDuel Group. “While we are eager to get up and running with our temporary sports book, we cannot wait until we open the permanent location and showcase to Atlantic City why FanDuel is the No. 1 sports book in New Jersey.”
