Every Thursday morning at 7:15am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City brings in the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

UPDATED 1/26/17: Baby has been adopted!

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

All of the animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped before adoption. All animals also receive an Alumni Card which entitles them to a 10% lifetime discount for veterinary services at the Humane Society of Ocean City clinic.

This week we met “Baby” the dog. Baby is an 8-year-old beagle

Here is some information on Baby from the Humane Society of Ocean City:

“Baby was found at Castaway Cove here in Ocean City and brought to the HSOC
on September 29th of this year.
Baby is a spayed female Beagle, ~8 years old.
Baby can be a bit shy at first, but warms quickly with patience, bacon, and
Baby is a quiet girl, not into a lot of activity, just easy walks and lazing
on the porch or by the hearth.
Baby is attentive and interactive, a happy girl with a big, warm
heart.wanting to be with you and doing what you're doing.
Baby is not overly playful, and is looking for a low-activity home.
It is unknown how she will be with other animals or children, and visits are
always required, though we expect she would do just fine assuming they are
not too hyper."
