Atlantic City Welcomes Miss America 2015 Contestants

A big crowd welcomed all 53 Miss America contestants yesterday in Atlantic City.

The crowd lined up at Kenneday Plaza on the boardwalk to possibly get a glimpse of the new Miss America 2015.

Each state was represented along with the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. All the Miss America contestants introduced themselves to the crowd.

The Miss America Pageant will be broadcast by ABC on September 14th from 8 to 11 PM live from Boardwalk Hall.

Here's a quick look at some of the upcoming Miss America related events:

Sept. 9-11: Preliminary competiton for Miss America contestants. Tickets available through ticketmaster.com.

Sept. 13: The Miss America Anniversary Celebration will be held at the Pier at Caesars starting at 10 AM. For ticket info call 609-653-8700.

Sept. 13: The Miss America Show Us Your Shoes Parade starts at Revel at 5 PM. Free seating is available. For more info on tickets visit showusyourshoes.com. Tickets also available at the Boardwalk Hall Box Office. Cash only for tickets.

Sept. 14: The Miss America finals will be held live at Boardwalk Hall starting at 8 PM. Tickets available at ticketmaster.com.
