Atlantic City Welcomes Garden State Film Festival

Get ready for the 12th annual Garden State Film Festival staring today and running through the weekend. 

There will be 84 films from over 16 countries to choose from. The majority of the screening will take place mainly  at Resorts Casino Hotel and Trump Taj Mahal Casino.

There will also be celebrities in town including  Laura Dern who starred in  “Jurassic Park” and Bebe Neuwirth, from TV series “Cheers;”  Oscar-nominated actress and director Diane Ladd; and Ed Asner of “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “Lou Grant” TV series will also be in Atlantic City.

The festival was held in Asbury Park for the past 11 years.

Tickets to individual screenings are $12. Weekend passes are $50. There is also opening night cocktail party and screening.  For more info call 877-908-7050.
