The 35th Annual Atlantic City St. Patrick's Day parade will not take take place this Saturday on the world-famous Atlantic City boardwalk amid the concerns and fear of the COVID-19 virus.

According to the Facebook page of the Atlantic City St. Patrick's Day Parade, the parade was cancelled by the city to protect the residents and tourists.

St. Patrick's events, celebrations and parties scheduled at various bars in Atlantic City may or may not still be on. You'll need to check the website of the respective establishments to see if the party will go on to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

If you do attend an event be sure to take precautions and wash your hands, cover your sneezes and coughs and stay at home if you're felling sick.
