There goes that news van again... 6-ABC/WPVI-TV news spent 11 days following Nicholas Russo,  the lead attendance officer for the Atlantic City School District, and found him playing hooky.

Russo was taped spending hours at massage parlors, getting haircuts, biking on the boardwalk... almost anywhere expect at work finding truants.

Russo, the longtime Atlantic City School District truant officer, with a $72,000 salary, tendered his resignation from the school district Monday after the allegations became public.

Channel 6 says they were acting on a tip when they assigned reporter Wendy Saltzman to follow Russo undercover during normal working hours. What they found was an employee with blatant disregard for his job, ironically a position where he was in charge of ensuring students don't skip school.
