Let's hear it for Atlantic City Police officer Robert Reynolds! The officer is being credited with saving the life of a newborn baby last weekend.

According to a news release on the Atlantic City Police Facebook page, officer Reynolds and his partner George Mancuso responded to a call Saturday night by a 22-year woman who had given birth to a baby boy in her home.

The child, still attached to the umbilical cord, was not breathing. Officer Reynolds quickly jumped into action, giving the baby CPR and managing to get him breathing and crying.

Mother and child were taken to AtlantiCare Mainland.  Well done, officer Reynolds!

Here is the Atlantic City Police Facebook post detailing the job well done by the officers.
