Every Thursday morning at 7:10am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City introduces the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

This week we met Angie the cat...

Here's some information on Angie from the Humane Society of Ocean City...

"Angie is an 8 year old, sleek black cat. Her and her sister have been here since June after their previous owners moved away.

Her sister just got adopted and Angie feels that she’s been here long enough and now it’s her turn. Angie would love a low key home where she is the only cat or with another laid back cat. She would love to sit on a lap and watch movies in her new home.

Angie does have a habit of licking her people, so you’ll need to be okay with that.

Please contact one of our adoption counselors for more information. All cats are up to date with vaccines and have been spayed or neutered. The HSOC also provides each pet adopted by us with a 10% lifetime discount to our veterinary center."
