Congratulations to Amy Anderson, the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month for March.

Mrs. Anderson is an American Sign Language teacher at Ocean City High School.

She was nominated by her student, Jenna Oliver, for instilling a passion for American Sign Language and for going out of her way to encourage her in school and in life.

Mrs. Anderson wins a membership to Island Gym and a Lite Rock pizza party for her class from Capri Pizza in Northfield, and a $50 gift card to Hamilton Mall.

For submitting the nomination, Jenna Oliver is now qualified for a $2000 scholarship from Lite Rock.

Get your school involved in the Hamilton Mall’s School Spirit Challenge.

Now through April 30, 2017. Shoppers can earn points for their favorite school when they present a Hamilton Mall receipt to the Information Desk.  The school that earns the most points by April 30 will receive $5,000 from Hamilton Mall, and the first and second runners-up will receive $2,500 and $1,000, respectively.

After you have completed your shopping trip, simply take your receipts to our customer service desk to submit your receipt and earn points for your school!

If you would like your school to participate in the School Spirit Challenge, please have your school principal call (609) 703-5085.

Put in a nomination and tell us about a teacher in South Jersey you think is deserving of being the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month. Hear more about the Teacher of the Month weekdays on the Lite Rock Morning Show with Eddie Davis.
