America’s Most Wanted” thinks they can shine a fresh light on the search for the person who murdered local radio host and activist April Kauffman, despite the fact that the TV show is no longer on the air.

No suspects have been named in the 16 months since Kauffman was found shot to death in the bedroom of her Linwood home, but police insist the case remains active.

“America’s Most Wanted”, which profiled and assisted law enforcement in the apprehension of wanted fugitives and unsolved crimes such as Kauffman’s murder for 23 years, was cancelled by Fox TV in 2011.

Show creator John Walsh now continues the work of “America’s Most Wanted” via a website, which is spotlighting the story of April Kaufman’s death.
