Congratulations to Ally O'Shea, the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month for May, 2021.

Mrs. O'Shea is a 5th grade teacher at the Charles Sandman Consolidated School in Cape May.  She was nominated by her student Nicholas Rickards' mom, Kathy, for doing an excellent job of engaging her son while teaching him both in person and virtually this year.

According to Mrs. Rickards...

Mrs. O'Shea was a rock star teaching 5th grade in person this year. When Lower Township Elementary School suddenly went to all virtual for about two months, it was no problem for Mrs O'Shea.

She handled it like a champ and drove around to all of the students homes and delivered their school supplies that were going to be needed for the next two months. She was well prepared for virtual learning and kept the kids engaged and accountable. She is kind, caring and, most of all, fair.
