A Great Teacher, a Great Year in 4th Grade at New York Ave. School [AUDIO]

I visited the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month, Lori Schwenker's 4th grade class at New York Avenue School in Atlantic City, on Tuesday.

We had a fun visit with Mrs. Schwenker's class, including a pizza party courtesy of Carluccio’s Coal-Fired Pizza in Northfield.

Lori Schwenker also won a membership to Island Gym. For submitting the nomination, her student, Amiyah Foreman, is now qualified for a $2000 scholarship from Lite Rock.

Thanks to everyone who put in a nomination this school year for Lite Rock's Teacher of the Month!  We'll bring together all of this year's Teachers' of the Month and their nominating students on Thursday, June 26th for the Teacher of the Year Banquet.  The student who nominated the Lite Rock Teacher of the Year wins a $2000 scholarship!
