Atlantic City Police are asking for help locating a suspect in a double shooting in the city in June. One suspect is in custody, but police are still looking for Kareem Wiley, 20, of Philadelphia. He is a Black male, six feet tall, 140 pounds.

According to a press release, Atlantic City Police have Randy Acosta, 32, of Philadelphia in custody. He has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and conspiracy.

The charges against Wiley and Acosta stem from a shooting on June 9. At 12:38 am, patrol officers responded to the first block of south Florida Avenue in reference to a ShotSpotter alert.

Responding officers located a shooting victim in the 2400 block of Pacific Avenue. The victim, a 40-year-old man from Oklahoma City, OK, was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, with serious injuries. A second shooting victim, a 24-year-old man from Newark, NJ, walked into the medical center to be treated for his injury.

Acosta was delivered his charges at the Atlantic County Justice Facility where he is being held after being charged in two other shootings.
