A traffic stop in Atlantic City Friday evening resulted in the recovery of a loaded gun and the arrest of three women and two men.

Atlantic City police say an officer observed a vehicle parked in the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue around 5:30PM Friday and conducted a motor vehicle stop after it sped-away from the curb. During the stop, a loaded gun was found and the occupants of the car were arrested without incident.

ARRESTED: Darel Bellamy, a 26-year-old man from Alexandria, VA
CHARGES: Unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a high capacity magazine, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

ARRESTED: Wayne Robertson, a 40-year-old man from Washington, DC
CHARGES: Unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a high capacity magazine, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

ARRESTED: Tawanna Bellamy, a 37-year-old woman from Washington, DC
CHARGES: Unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a high capacity magazine, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

ARRESTED: Tarryl Bellamy, a 39-year-old woman from Greenboro, NC
CHARGES: Unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a high capacity magazine, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

ARRESTED: Markeeta Johnson, a 24-year-old woman from Lorton, VA
CHARGES: Unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a high capacity magazine, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

Johnson was released on a summons with a future court date. The other four were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility, according to a press release.
