May 19th is the big date when many restrictions disappear including indoor capacity limits for restaurants, gyms, churches, and retail businesses including hair and nail salons and movie theaters. Social distancing rules will still apply.

Ten venues in the state have been cited with warnings in the last two weeks due to breaking COVID restrictions according to the website Patch.com. Those violations include exceeding indoor capacity limits, not enforcing the wearing of face masks, and failure to maintain social distancing.

New Jersey Attorney General Gubir S. Grewal tells the Patch,

"We will not allow a small percentage of bars and restaurants that disregard mitigation measures to jeopardize public health,"

The following establishments received warnings for violating New Jersey's coronavirus executive orders in the past two weeks.

  • Firehouse Tavern-Wildwood
  • The Deck at Holly Beach-Wildwood
  • Old City Pub-Wildwood
  • Levari's Seafood and American Grill- Upper Township
  • Yesterday's Bar- Upper Township
  • Black Dog-7 Stools-Little gg Harbor
  • Breakers Kitchen and Tap-Waretown 
  • Tuckahoe Inn-Upper Township
  • Klee's Bar and Grill-Seaside Heights
