76ers Open Training Camp at Stockton

Welcome back to the Philadelphia 76ers! The Sixers return to South Jersey today through Friday, holding their training camp at Stockton University for the third year.

Even though none of the 76ers two-a-day-workouts at Stockton are open to the public, it's still pretty cool having the team in town, eating and shopping in locals businesses and providing some Oh Wow! moments, like when you realize that the 7-foot tall guy in front of you in line at the Galloway Wawa is an NBA power forward.

Chances are this will be the Sixers last training camp at Stockton, however.

The team just held the ribbon-cutting on their new 125,000-square foot practice complex on the Camden waterfront, complete with two regulation-size basketball courts, and a 2,800-square-foot locker room.
