When Jim Gaffigan performs at the Met Philadelphia on Saturday, Oct. 24, the comic plans to tape a new TV special, The Pale Tourist. 

Gaffigan is among the highest-grossing comedians in the world, according to Forbes.

Gaffigan was last at the Met in February. But it’s hardly the comic’s biggest Philly show — that honor goes to his 2015 gig at the Festival of Families, during which he performed for Pope Francis.

Five-time GRAMMY Award nominated comedian, actor, writer and producer Jim Gaffigan saw his biggest year to date in 2019 with an astonishing eight films opening, including three premieres at the Sundance Film Festival and two leading roles.

He also released his seventh stand up special, and first with Amazon, Quality Time, making history as their first original comedy special.
