Not a great idea to break down in a stolen car.

Police in Longport say an officer stopped to help a motorist with a disabled vehicle - only to discover the car had been reported stolen.

Police are only now releasing information on the incident that happened back on August 7th:

Investigation on the scene revealed the driver, later identified as 55 year old Christine Gildiner, to be in possession of a stolen motor vehicle out of Cape May Court House.

It was soon discovered that Gildiner also had a warrant out of Margate City. She was taken into custody, transported to the Longport Police Department for processing, and charged with receiving stolen property where she was later released on a summons.
