Stockton University continues to make news. The university's $178.3 million dollar Atlantic City campus debuts with their official ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for September 20th.  

The Press of Atlantic City Atlantic City reports that the university was awarded a $100,000 state grant to determine the status of a possible new Marine and Environmental Science Center which would be built at Bader Field, the former home of the Atlantic City Airport, which was closed in 2006, according to NJ.com.

Bader Field is spread out over 140 acres, and the new proposed Science Center from Stockton could hold up to 500 students for educational and research purposes would be built on a stretch of 15-acres.
