Two woman and one man are in trouble after being arrested on heroin charges in Wildwood this week.

Wildwood Police say they conducted a motor vehicle stop in connection with a narcotics investigation. During the stop, they found distribution quantities of heroin, packaged for resale.

Police say they arrest all three occupants of the vehicle: Marissa Shelton, 24, Heriberto Alertiz-Soto, 34, and Brittany Dermott, 27. They were charged with the following:

Marissa Shelton was charged with Possession of Heroin (a crime of the third degree) and Conspiracy to Possess Heroin ( a crime of the fourth degree) and Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia (a disorderly persons offense). Marissa Shelton was processed and released after receiving the appropriate criminal charges with a pending court appearance required.

Heriberto Alteriz-Soto and Brittany Dermott were charged with; Possession of Heroin (a crime of the third degree) Possession of Heroin with the intent to distribute (a crime of the third degree) Possession of Heroin with the intent to distribute within '500 of certain public property (a crime of the second degree) and Possession of Heroin with the intent to distribute within '1000 of school property. Consequently, both Heriberto Alteriz-Soto and Brittany Dermott were processed and lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center.
