The 2012 edition of Thunder over the Boardwalk will go down as the most succesful Atlantic City Airshow ever. More than 908,000 people jammed the beach and the boardwalk for this year's airshow spectacular and according to a new study the 2012 show brought in an estimated $42.5 million dollars to the Atlantic City region. Of the 908,000more than 289,000 were not from the area. This was also the first time the airshow was held on a Friday and not midweek.

As Lite Rock's morning guy Eddie Davis told you last month, there will be some changes to the 2013 version of Thunder Over the Boardwalk. So far, confirmed acts are full demonstrations by the F-22 Raptor, the U.S. Marine Corps Harrier and the U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet, as well as the Golden Knights.
