Age is just a number for this war veteran.

Albert Gannotta from Bridesburg, who is a young 100 years-old, was just recently honored on Thursday for his service.

The American Legion, a U.S. war veteran organization, presented the local war vet with a citation for meritorious service aboard the famous Battleship New Jersey. They honored Gannotta for his 63 years of service as a member of his post.

What's even more amazing, to commemorate the occasion Gannotta was allowed to fire one of the massively large guns on the Battleship New Jersey.

And it goes without saying it looked like he thoroughly enjoyed it.

Congratulations Albert and we thank you for your service!
