Every Thursday morning at 7:10am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City introduces the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

This week we met Zoilo and Zakira the dogs...

Here's some information on Zoilo and Zakira from the Humane Society of Ocean City...

"Zoilo and Zakira are part of a litter of six. They are about 10 weeks old. We estimate them to be medium sized dogs when fully grown but don’t truly know what they are mixed with so we want to make sure there isn’t a size limit in their new home.

Every puppy in the litter looks different. They are pretty laid back for puppies and love to play hard for short bursts and sleep hard. They would love an adult dog to play with but it’s not required with them. With proper management they will be fine with cats.
