You’ll Want to Bring Your Family to This Top-Rated South Jersey Town

South Jersey can be a great place to raise a family, with so many different cities and so may awesome attractions. However, a recent list of Best Towns for Families doesn’t seem to rate many South Jersey towns very highly. 
According to NJFamily.com, the highest South Jersey towns rated to raise a family is Linwood, which comes in at number 42 on the list! Northfield comes next number 43. Over 500 towns were ranked on the list.

The general criteria for the list includes: crime rates, quality of schools, commute time, quality of schools, crime rates, affordability, commute time, access to area hospitals and lifestyle factors.

Other South Jersey towns included, besides Linwood and Northfield, are Upper Township at #127 and Sea Isle City at #179. Somers Point even made the list, but falls way back to  #236.

Just in case you were wondering, the top 3 towns on the list were Clinton in Hunterdon County, Montgomery Township in Somerset County, and Glen Rock in Bergen County.
