Woman Has Baby Mid-Flight on Way to AC Airport
Passengers on board a Spirit Airlines flight from Fort Lauderdale to Atlantic City got the surprise of a lifetime during the long holiday weekend.
The Press of Atlantic City reports that a woman gave birth on a Spirit Airlines flight as the plane was headed towards Atlantic City International Airport late Saturday night.
EMS on the scene at the airport, transported the new mom and her baby to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Galloway. At this time, according to the report, the woman has asked for privacy.
Awesome job by the Spirit Airlines crew and all those involved and congratulations the the new mom on the birth of her baby! I'm sure she'll have an unbelievable birth story to share with friends, family and her new baby!
