I still can't get use to the new policy of naming winter storms. The latest storm called 'Nemo'  could become a potential, historic and crippling blizzard for New England. Here in South Jerseywe'll see mainly rain and maybe some light snow and that's A-OK with me.

The storm will bring flooding and beach erosion to low-lying areas as rain which could be heavy  continues all day today.

According to National Weather Service snow will not accumulate in most of southern New Jersey, including Cape May and Atlantic counties, but parts of Ocean County could see between 3 to 6 inches of snow. More snow is predicted the further north you go.

There is also a coastal flood warning beginning at 4 p.m. today to 11 a.m. Saturday High tide will be tonight at 6:19 PM is Atlantic City.  Widespread flooding, from minor to moderate, will be a problem...The most serious flooding could occur with the 6:24 a.m. Saturday morning tide.
