Police in Wildwood are looking for a man they say is responsible for the stabbing of a Wildwood man.

Police say the incident occurred just after 3:30am Thursday at the New Jersey Transit Bus Terminal on Washington Avenue. When police arrived on the scene they found Gerald Saunders, 49, suffering from two stab wounds. Saunders was the victim of a robbery. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

This investigation also identified Ronray Harris, a 39-year-old unemployed laborer, as the defendant in this case.

 

Arrest warrants have been issued for Harris charging him with the following: Robbery (crime of the first degree), aggravated assault (crime of the second degree), possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose (crime of the third degree), unlawful possession of a weapon (crime of the fourth degree), and certain person prohibited to possess a weapon (crime of the fourth degree).

 

This investigation is active and the whereabouts of Ronray Harris are unknown at this time. It should be noted that anyone having contact with Harris should use caution while doing so, as Harris has a history of violence and weapons offenses. He is to be considered armed and dangerous.
