Cape May is one of the oldest vacation destinations in the entire country. Cape May is located where the Delaware Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean in Cape May County.

Cape May is such a cool town to call home, or even your home away from home and here's why!

There are so many fun things to do, including a visit to the Colonial House Museum. You can also check out a real working farm and vineyard at the Willow Creek Winery. The Cape May County Zoo was voted on of the best zoos in the entire country, and the award winning beaches in Cape May are some of the most beautiful.

Another cool place to visit is the Cape May Lighthouse, which originally was built in 1859. Did you know it takes 199 steps to get to the top? It's worth the climb to see an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Delaware Bay!

My family spent plenty of summers vacationing in Cape May. I remember having breakfast at George's Place on Beach Avenue. It was always the perfect way to start the day. You have to try the banana french toast!
